DNS Propagation
DNS propagation is the process of updating and distributing changes to a domain’s Domain Name System (DNS) records across servers around the world. When changes are made (such as pointing a domain to a new website host, changing an IP address, or updating email settings) it can take time for those updates to appear everywhere on the internet.
