Cybersquatting is the practice of registering, purchasing, or using a domain name that is identical or confusingly similar to a brand, company name, trademark, or public figure with the intent to profit from it. This can include trying to resell the domain at an inflated price, divert website traffic, or take advantage of a brand’s reputation.
