While William’s talent as both a singer and composer is undeniable, building a fanbase in the classical music world has its challenges. “As a classical musician, I have had a difficult time accruing an audience/fanbase as classical music is pretty niche,” he admits. “I have put in a lot of work to be the best musician I can be, but unfortunately, it’s pretty difficult to market yourself when you're working so hard just to be excellent at your craft.”
Despite these hurdles, William continues to push forward, with his proudest moments affirming his decision to pursue this career. “The first time my music was ever performed by someone who wasn’t me—in that moment, I felt completely justified in pursuing the career that I have,” he recalls. “Music may not always pay the bills, but it has certainly fulfilled my soul.”

William’s future is filled with exciting projects and opportunities. He remains a vital part of the Boston music scene, singing with groups like Ensemble Altera and Nightingale Vocal Ensemble.
